THE MUSK DUCK

Last year I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to do some digispotting with my mobile phone and a Digiscope. I started to take photos of several birds long-range and the best one that I saw was this beautiful musk duck. Beautiful leathery skin and it’s big oyster on its neck and gorgeous plumage I have to go back and take some more pictures of it because the way that it is swims is adorable I would like to pick one up and bring it home with me but I’ve never seen a duck like this before and it made me realize that there were so many beautiful critters that maybe I’ve been missing out on in my big backyard around where i live. I saw a duck with an unbelievable bright duck egg blue bill and I didn’t investigation and discovered that what somebody thought was penguins on an island were actually cormorants. My eyes were opening, my imagination slowly caught up and felt my creativity calling. All of these birds and my presence with in these moments started to lead me back to my memories of home, in my yard a family of magpies that I befriended and a strange happened chance meeting with some ravens which of the base of my first project story. Reminiscing of how far I have and remembering parts of myself I have been neglecting that satisfy my soul.
